London has many incredible Town Halls and Ceremony venues but for me, Islington Town Hall has a special place in my heart. It’s now the same for Annie and Tom who had their laid back ceremony in the council Chamber earlier this year. Islington Town Hall is just a few minutes walk from Highbury and Islington underground station which have links throughout central London.

Both Annie and Tom were so welcoming and relaxed throughout their planning which continued right into their wedding day. After the ceremony we took a short walk to their Airbnb to have a quick change of accessories and maybe a cheeky glass of bubbles. Then headed to their alternative and totally unique wedding reception at Hammerton Brewery. The taproom has an industrial style with lots of greenery and is conveniently located right in islington. Which meant we were able to walk there from the Airbnb which gave us some lovely candid photo spots along the way.

I was so honoured to be a part of their day and meet these incredible people they call friends and family. The party went on till late, there may have been a few shots of tequila thrown in the mix. Here are some of the highlights of their special wedding day in the City of London.
